Charles Malfroy is a French painter , born Charles Antoine Malfroy in Lyon 3 ele May 27 , 1862 and died in 1918.
Charles Malfroy is in the post-impressionist line of a Jean-Baptiste Olive . Attracted by the light of the Mediterranean ports, he excels in views of the Côte d'Azur and Bouches-du-Rhône , in particular the port of Martigues . He also painted some paintings of Venice .
He shows virtuosity in the atmospheric effects with a talent of colorist.
