Abraham Van Beerstraten

Abraham Beerstraaten (1643 – 1670s)

Born on 4 October 1643 in Amsterdam. He was a Dutch painter and a draughtsman.

There is much confusion regarding the identity of several painters called Beerstraaten, but also concerning the attribution of individual works of art . Almost all sources and works of reference give conflicting and often contradictory information (M. de Kinkelder, juni 2003)
